Be a trend-setter this summer

I’m currently researching into must-have products for AW14. Now, since we’ve been working on these trend reports, Charlotte and I have noticed all certain trends seem to repeat themselves, regardless of style nor season – but i’m ok with this. While I may be wowed by some of the incredible artistry from the catwalks, when it comes to my everyday makeup look it’s way more toned-down – which is just how I want it.

MAC Retro Matte collection – new launch!

As big fans of a matte lip, we were so excited to hear of MAC’s latest launch for AW13. The new Retro Matte formula includes eight Pro Longwear Lip Pencils and eight Lipsticks, plus we’ve heard that all 16 shades are going to be here to stay, so no fear (for now at least!) of falling for a limited edition colour only to have have the pain of it becoming discontinued. We were lucky enough to get our hands on one of their most striking shades in the collection; All Fired Up is a confident fuchsia red that is surprisingly easy to wear for its initial bold appearance, where I feel the matte finish offers a more grown up look to this cracking candy colour. Confessions of a serial nibbler

Hi! I’m Charlotte, and I’m a nail biter.

I stopped once during two weeks of work experience in a vet surgery: the sensible part of my brain finally kicked into gear, yelling “DID YOU NOT SEE THAT SICK CAT OVER THERE STOP PUTTING YOUR FINGERS IN YOUR MOUTH” every time my hands snuck up to my face. But as soon as I returned to school, the nibbling returned with a vengeance.
