I have a problem. If you hadn’t already noticed I’m a huge beauty junkie. To me, this is kind of a great problem – I love nothing more than trying new products and make-up, but I’m particularly fussy when it comes to skincare. Because of my gregarious ways with lotions and potions it has to take a really great product to truly stand out to me and raise my (on point) brows. Introducing Oskia, the brand that’s got me super excited about skincare…

Charlotte Tilbury Film Star Bronze & Glow
It’s a love-affair that started at Christmas last year. I was so intrigued to try Charlotte Tilbury’s range of make-up and was giddy to receive two lipsticks as a gift. I was instantly smitten with the luxurious gold packaging and excited to find that both shades totally lived up to their reputation. I’ve sinced purchased a blusher and lip liner, but the Film Star Bronze & Glow sculpting palette was constantly catching my eye with its beautiful gold casing and shimmering contents. On a recent trip to Selfridges, I had one thing on my mind…
December beauty favourites
Happy New Year beauty fans! For me 2014 felt so fast. It was a great year for progressing personally at work, having so much fun with my friends, visiting different countries, and doing some serious partying. But 2014 was also a great year for beauty! It’s almost been two years now since Charlotte and I started writing beauty features for Cambridge Edition Magazine, and we’ve learnt so much. I feel good about leaving 2014 behind with a last favourites post for December before getting stuck right into 2015, and all the fabulous discoveries yet to make.
November beauty favourites
Could someone please let me know where on earth November went please?! In fact it’s been such a busy month for me at work that I’m sad to say it didn’t leave much room for my non-nine-to-five fun. That said, there’s always room to discover new trends and make-up, so here are my faves from the month gone.
October beauty favourites!
I always find life starts to speed up at this time of year. Working in publishing there’s always plenty that needs to be done in time for Christmas – stockpiling copy for January issues and putting together special material for any clients’ Christmas activities, so for me it’s a great time to make sure I have some pamper products on hand for the end of a tiring day…

September beauty favourites
September was a super busy month for me – but of course there’s always time to try new products, and fall in love with ‘old’ products all over again. The weather may be getting dull but it certainly doesn’t mean your makeup has to. Here’s a round up of my favourites last month!
Autumn hair help
Today felt noticeably autumnal – and it seems like its happening really quickly – I got up to walk Roxy and my little Fiat 500 was almost completely covered in a blanket of red and gold leaves, as if the tree I had parked under had been clinging onto its leaves only to abandon them in one swift dump.
August favourites
September may almost be over, but here’s a round-up of my favourite products from August!
Berry lovely, Berry Red hair dye
A colleague and I were talking about hair-woes as we scurried through the carpark in the drizzly British summer, rain after work. “It’s going to be even more frizzy!” Becca exclaimed, referring to her lovely curly hair. It got me thinking about about how for many of us, the grass can seem greener on the other side. Poker-straight siren dreams of luscious curls, and all curly-Sue wants it not to battle with unruly tresses in place of sleek waves.
New classics – firm favourites
I was recently asked what my favourite ‘new to me’ product of 2014 was. A bit like top classic movies, the little black dress, or favourite jeans – it’s pretty hard for beauty product new-comers to make it onto my ‘new classics’ list.
